San Francisco took on Washington in Week 6 on Monday Night Football, kicking off at 8:15 p.m. ET on October 19. The game aired on ESPN and ABC, with the 49ers entering 5-0 and looking to stay perfect despite a roster full of injuries.

Nick Bosa sat out with a calf injury, and Deebo Samuel missed the game with a hamstring problem. Washington had its own issues: running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt was out with a groin injury, backup quarterback Marcus Mariota couldn't go, and defensive end Charles Omenihu was also unavailable.

Who showed up

Stefon Diggs gave Washington a reliable target, coming into the night with 18 catches for 170 yards and three touchdowns this season. But with key pieces missing on both sides, it turned into a depth test for two teams trying to stay competitive.

San Francisco has made a habit of staying dangerous even when stars go down, and this game was another chance to show it. Washington needed a statement win to stay relevant, but the injuries made it an uphill fight.

The Radazoid take

Monday Night Football used to be appointment television when we were kids: the music, the lights, the announcers making every play feel like the Super Bowl. This game had the same slot, but it's hard to get excited when half the big names are on the sideline. Bosa and Deebo are the kind of players who make highlight reels, and without them, San Francisco had to win on depth and coaching. Washington's injury list didn't help either.

Still, a 5-0 team playing under the lights is worth watching, even if it's not the shootout we hoped for. The 49ers proved they're built to handle adversity, and that's the kind of team you respect. If you tuned in hoping for a classic Monday night slugfest, you probably came away wishing both rosters were healthy. But if you just wanted to see a good team find a way to win, San Francisco delivered.
