Cadillac unveiled an Escalade V Checo Perez Edition limited to 11 units, and every single one is headed to Mexico.
The production run of 11 matches Sergio Perez's racing number. Perez drives for Red Bull Racing in Formula 1, and the timing lines up with Cadillac's push into motorsports even if the availability doesn't help anyone reading this.

Under the hood, nothing changes. The Escalade V Checo Perez Edition keeps the standard 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that makes 682 horsepower. That's the same engine that already makes the Escalade V the fastest full-size luxury SUV you can buy.
What makes it special
Reports say the visual upgrades include blacked-out badges, monochromatic Escalade lettering, a carbon fiber engine cover left exposed, aluminum pedals, unique ground projection graphics and a numbered plaque.
You can order it in black or white. That's it.
All 11 units are allocated exclusively to the Mexican market, according to reports. Cadillac didn't announce a U.S. version, and with only 11 being made, don't hold your breath.
The Radazoid take
Limited editions used to mean something you could actually try to buy—a Mustang Cobra R, a Corvette Grand Sport, a Viper ACR. Now they're marketing exercises for people who aren't you. Eleven trucks for one market is a press release with a VIN, not a car launch.
That said, the Escalade V is already a monster, and if Cadillac wants to honor an F1 driver by adding some carbon and a plaque, fine. Just don't pretend this matters to enthusiasts when it's really for one guy's home country and maybe his friends. The regular Escalade V is still on sale if you want 682 horsepower and room for the family. Skip the hype and buy that.
