TNA handed Matt and Jeff Hardy the book for the October 15, 2026 episode of Thursday Night Impact, letting the brothers run the show to mark their 35th anniversary in professional wrestling. The result was a night of old-school chaos taped in Dothan, Alabama, with tables matches, a five-man ladder war and freshly crowned champions defending their titles.

The show came right off the heels of Bound for Glory on October 12, where TNA crowned a new generation. Leon Slater won the TNA World Championship and became the youngest titleholder in company history. Amazing Red took the X-Division Championship and was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame the same night. Indi Hartwell beat Xia Brookside for the Knockouts Championship, and Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano won the Knockouts World Tag Team titles from Kiera Hogan and Allie.

The Hardy-booked card

The Hardys stacked the October 15 Impact with the kind of matches they made their name on. Syx beat The Righteous in a Tables Match. Nic Nemeth defeated his brother Ryan Nemeth in a family grudge bout. The main event was a five-man ladder match for the number one contendership to the TNA World Championship at Destination X on November 15, featuring Trey Miguel, Elijah, Ricky Sosa, Jason Hotch and Moose. Trey Miguel climbed the ladder and won the shot at Leon Slater's title.

In the women's division, Knockouts Champion Indi Hartwell teamed with Harley Hudson and Gabby Forza but lost to a trio of Xia Brookside, Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler in a six-woman tag.

What it means

Giving the Hardys one night to book Impact was a nostalgia play, and it worked the way it was supposed to: ladders, tables and a clear road to the next pay-per-view. Trey Miguel vs. Leon Slater at Destination X gives TNA a fresh matchup between two high-fliers, and the Hardys got to put their stamp on a show that honored the kind of wrestling they built their legacy on. If you remember the Hardys' TLC wars in the WWF and their runs through every indie and major promotion since, this was their victory lap as bookers, not just wrestlers.
