Ozzy's final concert film is in theaters now: Back to the Beginning
The farewell show at Villa Park, filmed 17 days before Ozzy Osbourne died, hit theaters October 28.

Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning, the concert film of Ozzy Osbourne's farewell show, opened in theaters on October 28. It runs 2 hours and 27 minutes.
The show
On July 5, 2025, Ozzy and the original Black Sabbath played their final show at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, the city where the band started. All 44,000 tickets sold out fast, more than five million people watched the live stream, and the event raised more than $11 million for charity. Ozzy died just 17 days later.
Why it matters
Black Sabbath came out of Birmingham's working-class streets and more or less invented heavy metal. Ozzy went on to a solo career that gave us Crazy Train and a generation of kids headbanging in their bedrooms, then reinvented himself again as everybody's favorite confused reality-TV dad. Few performers had three acts like that. This film is the curtain call.
Who's in it
Besides Ozzy and Sabbath, the film includes performances and tributes from a who's who of heavy music: Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Alice in Chains, Anthrax and Mastodon, plus Steven Tyler, Ronnie Wood, Billy Corgan, Tom Morello, Jake E. Lee and Nuno Bettencourt. There's also backstage footage that wasn't part of the live stream.
The Radazoid take
There's something right about a guy who spent fifty-plus years being written off getting to say goodbye on his own terms, in his hometown, with the original band and the biggest names in metal lining up to pay respects. Most rock stars don't get that ending. He did.
If you had a Sabbath or Ozzy cassette in your Walkman, and your mom was convinced it was going to ruin you, this is your movie. You turned out fine. Mostly. Go see it loud, the way he'd want.
